LG 86QNED90TAA VESA pattern and wall-mount specs
The LG 86QNED90TAA — the 86-inch QNED90TA Mini LED — uses a 600 x 400 mm VESA pattern and weighs 128.1 lb (58.1 kg) without its stand, according to LG's product page. Any wall mount whose range covers 600 x 400 and is rated for at least 128.1 lb will hold it.
Mount checklist for the 86QNED90TAA
- Pattern: 600 mm wide by 400 mm high (23.6 x 15.7 in). On a mount's box, both numbers must sit inside its range — "up to 400 x 400" fits smaller TVs, but not this one.
- Standard: a rectangular pattern outside the square Part F table, which is normal for current TVs; screws are usually M6 or M8 at this size, but the manual is the authority.
- Weight: 128.1 lb without the stand. Mounts are rated by maximum load; a mount rated 130 lb or more leaves no doubt, and full-motion arms should have more margin than fixed plates because the load sits further from the wall.
- Screws: use the screw length and any spacers the LG manual specifies. Too long can damage the panel; too short strips the insert.
- Wall: fix the mount to studs or masonry with the hardware the mount maker supplies for that wall type.
What that means when you shop
600 x 400 mm needs a mount sold for large TVs; compact and "up to 400 x 400" mounts will not reach the holes. Large fixed and tilting mounts usually cover it, and most heavy-duty full-motion arms do. At 128.1 lb this is a very heavy set: it needs a heavy-duty mount, fixings into studs or masonry, and three people or a professional installer to lift it safely.
Same mount, different model: LG's 86QNED90TUA (QNED90, 2024) also uses 600 x 400 mm and weighs 128.1 lb. A mount that suits the 86QNED90TAA suits it too, which is handy if you are choosing between them.
Among LG's 48 models here, 7 use 600 x 400 mm (17%); LG's most common pattern is 300 x 200 mm. LG's page doesn't state the model year.

Where to sit
A 86-inch 16:9 screen is 75 in wide and 42.2 in tall. It fills the SMPTE 30° view from 11 ft 8 in and THX's 40° cinema view from 8 ft 7 in. At this size 4K looks sharper than 1080p only from 11 ft 2 in or closer; beyond that, 20/20 eyes cannot tell the two apart. The 86-inch size page has the full table and every model at this size.
