TCL 65QM7K VESA pattern and wall-mount specs
The TCL 65QM7K — the 65-inch QM7K — uses a 300 x 300 mm VESA pattern and weighs 39.6 lb (18 kg) without its stand, according to TCL's product page. Any wall mount whose range covers 300 x 300 and is rated for at least 39.6 lb will hold it.
Mount checklist for the 65QM7K
- Pattern: 300 mm wide by 300 mm high (11.8 x 11.8 in). On a mount's box, both numbers must sit inside its range — "up to 400 x 400" fits this TV.
- Standard: a square Part F pattern in the VESA MIS standard, which uses M6 or M8 screws.
- Weight: 39.6 lb without the stand. Mounts are rated by maximum load; a mount rated 40 lb or more leaves no doubt, and full-motion arms should have more margin than fixed plates because the load sits further from the wall.
- Screws: use the screw length and any spacers the TCL manual specifies. Too long can damage the panel; too short strips the insert.
- Wall: fix the mount to studs or masonry with the hardware the mount maker supplies for that wall type.
What that means when you shop
300 x 300 mm sits in the middle of the range most "medium to large" mounts cover — check that the mount's largest pattern is at least 300 wide and 300 tall, because some budget mounts stop at 300 x 300. At 39.6 lb it is a two-person lift onto the mount, and well inside the rating of mainstream fixed and tilting mounts; on a full-motion arm, check the rating at full extension.
Closest in weight among other brands' 65-inch TVs: Samsung OLED S85H (38.4 lb, 300 x 200 mm); Sony BRAVIA 6 OLED (38.2 lb, 400 x 200 mm); Samsung Neo QLED QN80H (37.9 lb, 400 x 300 mm). None of them shares this TV's pattern — a reminder that size and weight don't predict the holes.
TCL's other 65-inch models here — QM6K (300 x 300 mm), QM8K (300 x 300 mm, 46.5 lb) — all share its pattern, so the mount question is only about weight.
Among TCL's 15 models here, 7 use 300 x 300 mm (47%), the most common TCL pattern. TCL's page doesn't state the model year.
Other sizes in the TCL QM7K line
The pattern is not the same across the line: it changes from 300 x 300 mm on the 75" to 600 x 400 mm on the 85", and it changes from 600 x 400 mm on the 85" to 600 x 500 mm on the 98", and it changes from 600 x 500 mm on the 98" to 1000 x 600 mm on the 115". A mount bought for one size is not automatically right for another.

How it compares with other 65-inch TVs
There are 39 other 65-inch models on this site. 300 x 300 mm is the most common pattern at this size (13 of them). At 39.6 lb it is lighter than the 47.5 lb median for the size — lighter than 28 of them.
Across all sizes, 33 other TVs here use 300 x 300 mm, including models from LG, Sony — for example LG OLED77G3PUA (77"), LG OLED77G6WUA (77"), LG OLED77M3YUA (77"), LG 65QNED85BUA (65"). The 300 x 300 page lists them all.
Where to sit
A 65-inch 16:9 screen is 56.7 in wide and 31.9 in tall. It fills the SMPTE 30° view from 8 ft 10 in and THX's 40° cinema view from 6 ft 6 in. At this size 4K looks sharper than 1080p only from 8 ft 5 in or closer; beyond that, 20/20 eyes cannot tell the two apart. The 65-inch size page has the full table and every model at this size.
