TCL 85QM7L VESA pattern and wall-mount specs
The TCL 85QM7L — the 85-inch QM7L — uses a 600 x 400 mm VESA pattern and weighs 72 lb (32.7 kg) without its stand, according to TCL's product page. Any wall mount whose range covers 600 x 400 and is rated for at least 72 lb will hold it.

Mount checklist for the 85QM7L
- Pattern: 600 mm wide by 400 mm high (23.6 x 15.7 in). On a mount's box, both numbers must sit inside its range — "up to 400 x 400" fits smaller TVs, but not this one.
- Standard: a rectangular pattern outside the square Part F table, which is normal for current TVs; screws are usually M6 or M8 at this size, but the manual is the authority.
- Weight: 72 lb without the stand. Mounts are rated by maximum load; a mount rated 80 lb or more leaves no doubt, and full-motion arms should have more margin than fixed plates because the load sits further from the wall.
- Screws: use the screw length and any spacers the TCL manual specifies. Too long can damage the panel; too short strips the insert.
- Wall: fix the mount to studs or masonry with the hardware the mount maker supplies for that wall type.
Body size: 74.4 x 42.7 x 2.3 in
TCL lists the 85QM7L at 74.4 in wide, 42.7 in tall and 2.3 in deep without its stand (189 x 108 cm), and 74.4 x 44.3 x 14.9 in on its stand — the stand adds 1.6 in of height and needs a surface 14.9 in deep. On the wall it stands out 2.3 in plus the mount's own profile. Compare it with every other 85-inch body on the above-a-fireplace and TV-cabinet pages.
What that means when you shop
600 x 400 mm needs a mount sold for large TVs; compact and "up to 400 x 400" mounts will not reach the holes. Large fixed and tilting mounts usually cover it, and most heavy-duty full-motion arms do. At 72 lb it is a heavy set: plan a two-person lift, fix the mount into at least two studs or into masonry, and pick a mount whose rating leaves clear margin.
Closest in weight among other brands' 85-inch TVs: Samsung Neo QLED QN80H (70.8 lb, 600 x 400 mm); LG QNED evo QNED92A (75 lb, 600 x 400 mm); Samsung Micro RGB R85H (75 lb, 600 x 400 mm). All share this TV's pattern, so a mount chosen for one would fit them too.
Same mount, different model: TCL's 85QM6K (QM6K) also uses 600 x 400 mm and weighs 71.8 lb. A mount that suits the 85QM7L suits it too, which is handy if you are choosing between them.
Among TCL's 46 models here, 10 use 600 x 400 mm (24%); TCL's most common pattern is 300 x 300 mm. It is a 2026 model, so the specs above come from a current listing.
Other sizes in the TCL QM7L line
The pattern is not the same across the line: it changes from 300 x 300 mm on the 75" to 600 x 400 mm on the 85", and it changes from 600 x 400 mm on the 85" to 600 x 500 mm on the 98". A mount bought for one size is not automatically right for another.

How it compares with other 85-inch TVs
There are 28 other 85-inch models on this site. 600 x 400 mm is the most common pattern at this size (17 of them). At 72 lb it is lighter than the 85.8 lb median for the size — lighter than 20 of them.

Where to sit
A 85-inch 16:9 screen is 74.1 in wide and 41.7 in tall. It fills the SMPTE 30° view from 11 ft 6 in and THX's 40° cinema view from 8 ft 6 in. At this size 4K looks sharper than 1080p only from 11 ft 1 in or closer; beyond that, 20/20 eyes cannot tell the two apart. The 85-inch size page has the full table and every model at this size.
