VESA 100 x 200 mm
A 100 x 200 pattern means four mounting holes 100 mm apart side to side and 200 mm apart top to bottom (3.9 x 7.9 in, taller than it is wide). 1 TV on this site use it, all 43-inch, weighing 14.6 to 14.6 lb without stand.

Where it sits in the VESA standard
100 x 200 matches Part E of the VESA Mounting Interface Standard, which uses M4 machine screws. It is the number 12 of 16 patterns among the TVs listed here.
What kind of TV uses 100 x 200
100 x 200 is a small-TV pattern, found on light sets up to the mid-50s. Nearly every TV wall mount includes it in its range, including the cheapest fixed plates, so the things to check are weight and how far the mount holds the TV off the wall.
Series using it: TCL Q651G.
From the standard, for small patterns
- Parts B to E use M4 machine screws; Part F uses M6 or M8.
- Part F's table lists square patterns of 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000 mm.
- The article's example: a 30-inch TV weighing more than 50 lb (23 kg) would need a Part F mount.
- Screw length is the bracket thickness plus the depth the standard allows; for Part F, M6 screws must engage at least 9 mm and at most 10 mm, in a hole no deeper than 12 mm.
In practice that means the screws for a 100 x 200 TV are short M4 machine screws, and the length you need is the thickness of the bracket plus the depth the TV allows — which is why mounts ship with a bag of different lengths and spacers. Use the shortest one that engages fully.
A portrait pattern: holes further apart up and down
VESA figures are written width first, so 100 x 200 puts the holes 200 mm apart vertically and only 100 mm apart across. That is the less common way round: of the 16 patterns in use on this site, most are as wide as or wider than they are tall. On a typical wall plate the TV hangs from two vertical arms, and it is the arms' slot length that has to reach 200 mm; check the mount's largest height, not just its headline size.
Not the same as 200 x 100. 1 TV here uses the same two numbers the other way round — 200 x 100, wider than tall (Vizio VFQ43M-1004). This one, 100 x 200, is turned on its side. A mount whose range covers both 100 and 200 in each direction takes either, but one rated "up to 100 x 200" does not automatically take 200 x 100.
Which mounts fit 100 x 200
A mount fits when the TV's pattern width and height both fall inside the mount's published range. For this pattern, the mount's largest pattern must be at least 100 wide and 200 tall, and its smallest no bigger than 100 x 200. A mount sold as "up to 300 x 300" covers it; one listed "up to 100 x 200" does not — check the minimum too, since large-TV mounts often start above 200 mm. Weight matters as much as the holes: the heaviest TV here with this pattern weighs 14.6 lb, so a mount rated below that will not do for it.
A mount that fits 100 x 200 usually also fits the smaller patterns inside it: 100 x 100 — as long as its minimum allows.
